President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about new sanctions against Russia and enterprises that help the occupying army in the war against Ukraine.

He announced this on May 27 during his address to Ukrainians.

The President informed on the imposition of sanctions against legal entities and individuals - most of them Russian - who work for terror. A total of 220 companies and 51 individuals.

"These are military-industrial enterprises and related Russian companies. Enterprises serving the war. And the persons through whom these companies are managed. Not all of them operate on the territory of the terrorist state, some in other countries. But everyone will get global pressure. Step by step, we collect complete data on everyone who works for aggression – directly or indirectly. Each such person will be blocked, and our, Ukrainian, sanctions are either already synchronized or will be synchronized with the sanctions of the free world," he said.

The President stressed that Russia was losing the war against Ukraine, as well as those who helped them in this.

"When Russia began this aggression, they looked at the world as if in a mirror. They thought that everyone in the world – as cynical and alleged – despised people as much as the masters of Russia. But the world is different – the world helps us protect life. And anyone who goes against the world will become marginal. Russia will gain nothing and lose everything. Along with those who are still somehow trying to help her in terror. We will continue our sanctions steps, and there are new sanctions packages next in line - even larger," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

We will remind, the former Minister of economy of Russia Andrei Nechayev said that after the introduction of Western sanctions against the Russian Federation, the situation in the Russian economy has become very difficult. According to him, Russia is currently "in d*pi".
