The turbines, which will be installed at small water power plants (KSES), are manufactured using the latest technologies owned by Europe's Gugler GmbH, so there is no environmental damage.

The EPA reports that Rustam Rogebov, head of the Hydroelectric Service of the Energy Industry Operator, said this at a public hearing on the report "Evaluation of Environmental Impact" for the construction of small water power plants (KSES) buildings, water pipes, and raided water pipes by the ASC on the Oxchuchai River.

Despite the ecological flow of Oxchuchai at 0.82 cubic meters per second, he said, the water power plant will not operate when the river's water level is less than 3.43 cubic meters per second:

"This means that more than four times as many water is stored in the Aegean Sea than in the ecological stream. Additionally, 26 percent of oxchay's water supply is estimated to be about three cubic feet [3 cubic meters] of water in the river. This means that 55 percent of the flow of Oxchay will have no negative impact on the river ecosystem by being stored in the appropriate river basin."
