On the night of May 26, the Russian occupiers inflicted on Izyum in the Kharkiv region the most massive strike with Shahed kamikaze drones during the entire full-scale war.

This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv regional administration Oleh Sinegubov, who published a video from the scene of the attack.

"Today we are working in Izyum, where last night the enemy inflicted the most massive strike since the full-scale invasion with kamikaze drones of the Shahed type," the head of the region said in a statement.

As a result of the enemy attack, industrial enterprises, civilian infrastructure were damaged, and a school was destroyed. Private residential buildings were also damaged.

All relevant services are now working in an enhanced mode to eliminate the consequences of the strikes.

"The terror against civilians resorted to by the enemy is the result of his defeats on the front line. (...) Strikes on civilians are another manifestation of the actual powerlessness of the occupiers," Syniehubov said.
