An interesting incident occurred in the Black Sea — the Russian reconnaissance ship "Ivan Hurs" was damaged as a result of an attack by Ukrainian naval drones. He received quite serious damage and was disabled. It should be understood that today Russian ships cannot feel safe in the Black Sea.

This was stated in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua by military-political observer Oleksandr Kovalenko.

He added: "Nobody said they were Ukrainian naval drones. In fact, it could be the Atlanteans who launched their drones because they do not like what is happening in the Black Sea and how Russia behaves."

"Ivan Hurs" is a unique reconnaissance ship of Project 18280, the expert noted: "There are two ships of such a project in service with the Russian fleet, and in the Black Sea Flotilla it is one."

It received quite serious damage and was disabled, commented Oleksandr Kovalenko: "The most important thing is that Russian propaganda during the day claimed that, yes, there was indeed an attack, but they allegedly managed to counteract it. They even posted videos of them accurately destroying one of these unidentified drones."

The expert added that if you call these drones more correctly, they are unmanned boats: "Then there was a kind of pause, endurance. After that, a video appears of one of these BEKs just hitting Ivan Hurs. We must understand that today Russian ships cannot feel safe in the Black Sea."

The military observer noted that a certain group of ships is constantly in the Black Sea - 11-13: "At the same time, 2-1 of them are carriers of sea-based cruise missiles "Caliber". And what is this happening? And this is precisely the escort of these carriers to protect against some kind of BEC attacks."

There are carrier strike groups when a large aircraft carrier with a displacement of 100,<> tons is accompanied by a large group of ships, the expert continued. He noted that this group of ships provides him with cover against submarines: "That is, this is a common large cover group. It's all called a carrier strike group."

Oleksandr Kovalenko drew attention to the fact that when a Kalibr carrier with a displacement of one and a half thousand tons goes to sea, he is also accompanied by a large group of ships and provides him with all this protection, because he does not feel safe. According to the expert, "Ivan Hurs" confirmed this, because he got lost in the open sea and immediately swam up to him BEKS.

The military observer added that all this speaks about the status of the Russian Black Sea Flotilla: "It has been driven into a dead end. Today, the Russian Black Sea Flotilla has completely disgraced and discredited its functionality. It does not perform its functionality at all. And this incident with Ivan Hurs only confirmed that."

Recall that on the night of May 24, the Russian reconnaissance ship "Ivan Hurs" was attacked by three drones. The incident occurred after passing through the Bosphorus.
