On the border of Sumy region, local authorities introduced security measures in a five-kilometer zone. Therefore, teams of power engineers and agricultural workers were forbidden to visit the border of Sumy region on their own.

This is stated by order of the head of the regional military administration Vladimir Artyukh.

"The departure of repair and restoration teams, workers of agricultural enterprises to the 5-kilometer zone is agreed with the military command and local governments," the documents say

Now senior brigades need to "be coordinated with the military command, law enforcement agencies in the area of any work or evacuation (including medical) in the event of an emergency that threatens the lives of personnel."

It is noted that all teams should be provided with personal protective equipment (body armor, helmets), as well as individual medical first aid kits.

The military should provide escort and cover for brigade workers during the work, the OVA said.

Recall that in the Sumy region announced evacuation from the border communities of the Okhtyrka district. This decision was made due to the intensification of enemy shelling.
