In the Ukrainian language there are many words that can express your emotions and tension, it is not necessary to use Russian vernaculars. But you also need to be able to swear competently.

This was told by the well-known Ukrainian teacher and linguist Oleksandr Avramenko on the air of "Breakfast with 1+1".

He said: "I often hear young people slang half-decent exclamation 'Damn!' that conveys frustration. This is a Russian colloquial word, and it does not have to be "dragged" into Ukrainian, much less translated as "pancake". Surprise, sadness, grief can be reproduced in our words — damn, greek, uncle, shake."

Therefore, you also need to swear competently, the linguist noted: "But it is best when the vocabulary is so rich that there are enough cultural words to express any emotion."

Let's make sure that Ukraine speaks beautifully!
