About 200 buses with a total of more than 10,000 Kosovo Serbs left last night and this morning to the Serbian capital Belgrade to support the rally of Serbian President Aleksandar VucicAleksandar Vucic, a Serbian lawyer and politician.

Serbs from the towns of northern Mitrovica, Gracanica, Leposavić, Zubin Potok and Štrbce in northern Kosovo set off for Belgrade to join Vucic's announced rally to "defend the free, democratic values" of the country's citizens, titled "Rally of Hope".

President Vucic: There will be no independent Kosovo

"I would like to thank the Serbs of Kosovo and Metohija for their responsibility and seriousness. I think that at Friday's rally the largest percentage of people will be from Kosovo and Metohija and I want to thank those who went to Belgrade, they are people who love their Serbia," Vucic said in an interview with Serbian national broadcaster RTS earlier.

Aleksandar Vučić
