Bhopal: The investigation of the case of 16 suspected terrorists of radical Islamic terrorist organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir, arrested from Madhya Pradesh and Telangana, has now been handed over to the NIA. On the morning of May 9, the Madhya Pradesh ATS detained 10 suspects of Hizb-ut-Tahrir from Bhopal and Chhindwara. Police say HuT members have links to other states as well as international connections. Therefore, the investigation has been handed over to the NIA.

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said, "The group of HUTs caught in Madhya Pradesh has been traced to other states and international connections. Now all further investigation will be done by NIA. Madhya Pradesh is an island of peace and Shivraj Singh's government, if any person or institution tries to spread unrest, the fruits will be crushed.

"The son has become a fanatic. Another information was received about the
accused that many suspects have recently converted and married girls of other religions. However, the parents of the accused, who changed from Saurabh to Salim, told NDTV a few days ago that their son had become radicalised. But he is not a terrorist.

The police have found many Pakistani numbers from the mobile phones of the
arrested accused. The ATS says that they had started building their cadre in the state, their aim was to connect the youth with the organization by calling the country's governance system anti-Islam. The members of the organization wanted to establish khilafat by inciting people, spreading violence. According to the police, the accused used to secretly go to the forests and practice close combat training, shooting. People from Hyderabad used to come and train them. They used dark web apps like Rocket Chat, Threema to communicate with each other.
