On May 24, Brazil's capital, Azerbaijan, hosted a diplomatic banquet and a concert with the participation of artist and artist Anwar Sadykov, a pianist and artist, Emil Efrasiyab.

The event began with the singing of national anthems from both countries in a solemn performance by Brazil's national army's Corpo De Bombeiros Militar orchestra, according to the embassy to the EPA. Later, Ambassador Rashad Novruz gave a talk at the event. He briefed the event participants on our country's ancient traditions, rich natural and human resources, a glorious history and a strong foundation for independence. Today, the head of the Azerbaijani government, Ilham Əliyev, said that the country's politics, economy, culture, and society have grown stronger year by year as a result of pragmatic foreign policy and transparent government. In particular, he emphasized the importance of strengthening the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, recognizing its position at the international level, and ensuring the well-being of our people. This year, the ambassador, who announced that President Ilham Əliyev's supreme decision was to celebrate the "Heydər Əliyev Year," emphasized that in Brazil, as in many countries, a series of events would be organized and each of them would be dedicated to his name.

Later, Senator Nelsinyo Trace, co-founder of the Brazilian-European Parliamentary Friendship Group, and a high-ranking official of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In their speeches, they noted that Azerbaijan is an important partner in the region for Brazil and that there are enough political wills, resources, and opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations. Both speakers called the proclamation of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan on May 28, 1918, the first step in our country's independence. He emphasized the importance of maintaining current positive dynamics in all areas of Azerbaijan and strengthening ties, especially between parliaments.

The initiative has continued with some of Azerbaijan's finest jazz traditions. The works of "The Invincible Battalion", "Two Worlds", "Where Is Ahmed - Popurri", "The Dance of Uzundar", "East and West", "Nueva" and "Letter to the Father" in honor of the eternal name of the Great Order. Artist Emil Ephraim informed the participants about the nature of the music "Letter to the Father." He emphasized that this work was dedicated to the glorious memory of Heydər Əliyev.

The musicians' talk was enthusiastic and applauded by the event participants.

President Lula da Silva's deputy prime minister, two deputy ministers from the Brazilian government, diplomatic corpses accredited in Brazil, local government officials in the federal and some states, senators and federal deputies, KGB representatives, and students participated.
