The expansion of relations with tourism organizations and the increase in the number of mutual tourist trips between the two countries were discussed at a meeting between Heavenly Khoratov, chairman of the Governing Body of the Azerbaijani Tourism Agency, and Mohammed Al Bloshi, ambassador to Azerbaijan of the United Arab Emirates.

According to a report from the Association of Azerbaijani Tourism Agents to the EPA, the ambassador was informed of the Association's activities, the role of the country's tourism in the reconstruction and development of tourism, and the opportunities for cooperation with companies that are members of the organization.

During the discussions, Heavenly Khoratov, who said that the Middle East market for Azerbaijan's tourism sector, especially the United Arab Emirates, is of great importance to citizens of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates with national passports, noted that there will be positive progress in both arrival and travel tourism.
For many years, the chairman of the Association of Jehovah's Witnesses, who said that Dubai was renowned for its citizens and that there were large numbers of trips to the city, expressed interest in expanding cooperation.

Mohammed Al Bloshi, the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan, said that the development of genuine friendships between the two countries has had a positive impact on tourism as in many areas. The ambassador has pointed out that he is willing to show his support for expanding cooperation in this direction.

The meeting discussed issues such as the creation of a joint venture, the development of business activities, the holding of B2B-format meetings, the promotion of familiarity infotainments, the exchange of experience, and the increase in the number of airplanes.

It is noteworthy that azerbaijani Airlines, Flydubai, and Air Arabia Airlines now operate flights to Dybay and Sharja several times a day.
