In the Chernihiv region, a man, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, shot a couple with a gun on the territory of his own household.

This was reported by the press service of the Chernihiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The attacker explained his actions by the fact that he was outraged by the behavior of a man and a woman. In addition, conflicts between them have arisen before.

"The court took into account that the accused after committing the crime disappeared from the scene and was hiding from law enforcement officers, in connection with which he was wanted for a month, took active actions to conceal the instrument of the crime," the department said.

Now the man will serve a sentence of 15 years in prison.

Earlier it became known that in the Odessa region a man raped a woman who needed help.
