Cuba today renewed the collaboration agreement with the General Council of Chambers of Catalonia, at the conclusion of a business visit to Spain described as fruitful.
The Cuban delegation, headed by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Caribbean island, Antonio Carricarte, participated in two forums with the association of industrial companies and with the General Council of the Chamber of Catalonia.
Carricarte also held exchanges during his visit to the Barcelona Building Construmat Fair, dedicated to construction.
Before, he met with personalities from his field in Spain, including the Secretary of State for Trade, Xiana Méndez, and with the president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Antonio Garamendi.
He participated in the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, together with the ambassador of Cuba in that country, Marcelino Medina, of the XXXIII session of the Cuba-Spain Binational Business Committee, where the work plan for the period 2023-2024 was approved.
Under different modalities and with the desire to establish solid ties of cooperation, businessmen in Spain expressed economic-commercial interests with Cuba.
