Prayer for rain and rich harvest will be held today in the village of Kardam, Dobrich region. The event is organized for the fourth year by local farmers. The prayer will be served by Father Michael from the church of St. Michael. Trinity" in Kardam, and the ritual "Butterfly" will be performed by the women from the village of Chernookovo.

The ritual for rain and prosperity will be held at 12.00 in the field between the villages of Kardam and Chernookovo, General Toshevo Municipality. An hour later in the center of the village of Kardam will be distributed a sacrifice, said the mayor of the settlement Georgi Sabev:

"Usually in May always dry and there is not enough rainfall, and field crops need moisture right now. That is why we have been organizing a prayer service for the fourth year now, and after the prayer a sacrifice for health and prosperity is distributed. In the field, we'll ask him to knock down."

According to Georgi Sabev, no rainfall of economic importance has been registered in the municipality this month.
