On May 25, Moscow hosted a three-way summit with President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation and Prime Minister Nicolas Pashinyan of the Republic of Armenia.

The EPA reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the Summit, said:

- Honorable Ilham Heather's son. Honorable Nikolai Vovayevic.

Dear colleagues, friends.

We are grateful for your operational response to the proposal to hold our next meeting and I hope it will be a good prerequisite for practically resolving some of the issues we have long talked about.

It is in our format that success has been achieved on many issues. In the fall of 2020, military operations were not only halted but then the blockade of economic and transportation communications began.

There have been a lot of incidents during this time and I will not stand on each of them, not go into details. In my view, the situation is still progressing in the direction of regulation, even though there are still plenty of challenges and problems in general. One of those directions is the work being done on transport communications. Look, now we've talked about it in sufficient detail in the face-to-face trio and there are still unregulated issues left. However, I think we talked about it with colleagues from both Azerbaijan and Armenia. These issues are purely technical.

We discussed the subject in detail. The issue is in terminology. Of course, behind these terms is the accurate understanding of reality and events. They come after the relevant documents have been signed. But I think from the perspective of all three of us, - I mean myself, the prime minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan, - these are obstacles that can be removed. In fact, these are just technical issues. Therefore, we decided that in the near future, a week later, I now ask my colleagues to agree on this date, and the deputies of the Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia will meet. If that can be said, they will address issues that have not yet been regulated. It seems to me that this is a good consensus and raises hopes of unresolved issues so far.

In time, we agreed to the meeting a week later. Today is Thursday. Are there any proposals from Armenia or Azerbaijani delegations? Because the co-workers have to agree among themselves. Is it normal in a week?

Prime Minister Nicolas Pashinyan: Oh yes.

President Vladimir Putin: Ilham Heather's son?

President Ilham Əliyev: Yes.

President Vladimir Putin: Thank you very much for the press. We will be working in a slightly closed mode.

A three-way meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia has begun in Moscow.

The EPA's Moscow correspondent reports that a meeting at the Kremlin discusses the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations.

Note that three-way talks are held within the framework of a meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of Austria.

Before the three-way talks, Russian President Vladimir Putin separately held bilateral talks with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ilham Əliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nicolas Pashinyan.
