The European Union (EU) Council has adopted a Charter that updates the suspension of all customs duties, quotas and trade protection measures on Ukraine's exports to the EU for another year - by June 2024.

The EPA reports that the AI Council's press service has leaked information about the case.

It has been reported that by updating the measures, the ECB continues to demonstrate its unwavering political and economic support for Ukraine, which is still facing unwarranted Russian military aggression.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenski thanked the EC for the decision. Zelenski shared this on his Twitter account.

"I applaud today's decision by the EU Council to extend temporary trade liberalization for Ukrainian products for another year," he said. The full abolition of royalties and quotas has been extended until June 2024. As we move towards the EU, this temporary liberalisation should be a permanent feature with no exceptions or restrictions. I am grateful to all AI members for the support that has brought us closer to membership in the EU," Zelenski said in a statement.
