After the SBU exposure, Ukrtatnafta transferred to the budget more than UAH 1.2 billion in taxes that were not paid by the former owners.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

As noted, after exposing corruption schemes of the top management of Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta, the budget of our state was replenished by UAH 1.2 billion. The current management of the company transferred in favor of Ukraine as taxes not paid by the former owners.

"This fact of tax evasion was suspected by the former director of the company, who is currently in custody. Earlier, law enforcement officers exposed the management of Ukrtatnafta on the misappropriation of petroleum products totaling more than UAH 2 billion. The returned funds will be used to meet the needs of the Defense Forces," the SBU said.

Recall that in Volyn, the company supplied components for submarines to the Russian Federation.
