In Sofia, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria, the 105th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the 100th anniversary of the birth of General Leader Heydər Əliyev was held in Sofia.

According to the EPA, the event was attended by the Minister of Economic and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria (BR), the Minister of Energy, the Ministers and Leaders of a number of ministries, the leaders of the BR government agencies, the leaders of the BR Presidential Administration, members of the BR People's Congress, leaders of BR religious conferences, prominent scientists and cultural leaders, leaders of local diplomatic missions, and members of the Azerbaijani diaspora.

The event, which began with the national anthems of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Bulgaria, continued with the talk of Mr. Huseyn Huseynov, an extraordinary and powerful ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria.

The talk highlighted the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan and its achievements in the form of democratic government, the foundation of human rights, and international recognition during a difficult and short period of time. The preservation and irreversibility of national independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which was restored in 1991, has been described as the name of The World Leader, a genius politician. Thanks to the comprehensive reforms initiated by ulu Oder, independent Azerbaijan has become a strong modern and dynamic developing state, as well as the energy strategy it co-authored, which has led to Azerbaijan's prosperity as well as its recognition as a reliable partner internationally. The talk focused on the liberation of our lands from invasion during the 44-day Civil War, led by The Supreme Commander Ilham Əliyev. The talk also pointed out that Azerbaijan, known for its beautiful nature, ancient history, rich culture, and hospitable people, is an example to the world with its ethnic diversity and rich tolerance traditions.

In a speech to the BR's Minister of Economic and Industry, Nikola Stoyanov, said that Azerbaijan-Bulgaria friendships were built on ancient friendships between our peoples and that they were further developed despite the world's crises, adding that the trade cycle between the two countries had increased by 2022% in 330.

At the site of the event, an exhibition of photographs of Ulu Oder Heydər Əliyev's work in the development of Azerbaijani-Bulgarian relations was organized. Those who attended the official banquet were also guests of Azerbaijani and world music.
