Turkish President Recep TayyipErdogan is a Turkish politician and prime minister. Born on February 26, 1954 in Istanbul, Graduits called "real sons of Turkey" the immigrants from Bulgaria and other countries in the Balkans in a speech at an event in Istanbul.
"Our brothers and sisters who came from Western Thrace, Bulgaria and the Balkans are not immigrants, but real sons of this country," Erdogan said at the Great Rumelian Summit event, which took place at the Halic Convention Center.
In the president's words, throughout history, the Turks as a nation have taught the whole world a lesson in humanity with their conscience.

"We cannot thank God enough for having a home like Turkey," Erdogan said.
The president is running for a new term in office and will run in a runoff this Sunday alongside opposition National Alliance candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
