Today, in Lokhvytsia, Poltava region, three victims shot by a local resident were buried, at the same time new details of this terrible murder became known.

Recall, according to police, 53-year-old resident Oleksandr Sova shot three of his neighbors – 63-year-old mathematics teacher Aleftina Panchenko, 47-year-old former mayor of Lokhvytsia Vyacheslav Demchuk and 67-year-old Mykhailo Tarasenko.

They all lived on the same street next to the killer. In the local online community of Lokhvytsia there were many posts about these people. For example, citizens wrote about a math teacher as follows: "This is a woman who, with her actions and actions, with her mind, educated more than one generation of students. She skillfully taught them wisdom and responsibility. One of the greats said: "When a man dies, the world becomes poorer, because he loses what he lived, how he perceived everything, what surrounded him, how rich and generous was his soul and essence."

The residents of Lokhvytsia also expressed hundreds of condolences to the family of the deceased Mykhailo Tarasenko, telling about how bright this man was.

Today, new, no less stunning details have become known.

The woman escaped by a miracle

According to relatives and acquaintances of the family of the shot Vyacheslav Demchuk, his wife, Inna, was supposed to be the victim of the shooter, but the fourth tragedy was hindered by an accident.

This was reported in a comment to TSN.ua by an acquaintance of this family Valentyna Volokh and a relative of Demchuk Vitaliy Pluzhnik.

For Inna (Demchuk's wife, who was in the house at the time of the shooting – ed.), that did not have enough ammunition. She was also at gunpoint. They say so," Valentyna Volokh told us.

She remembers the former mayor as a respected person in the city who was always ready to help.

In turn, a relative of the Demchuk family, Vitaliy Pluzhnik, recalls that there was a conflict between Sova and Viacheslav Demchuk several years ago over the roof.

"At 5 a.m., the owl started repairing the roof on his house, banging with tools, Slavik (Demchuk – ed.) I went out and made a comment to him because the children were still asleep at that time. Perhaps he, the Owl, harbored evil because of this. He was strange, did not communicate with anyone. In my opinion, Inna should have been the next victim, but something prevented him. Perhaps due to the fact that he was already seen on the street. After that, he, Sova, went to himself and blew himself up on a grenade," Vitaliy Pluzhnik told us.

The motive is still being clarified

In turn, our sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs told TSN.ua that as of today the motive of the crime has not been reliably clarified, but law enforcement officers do not deny that Sova was preparing the execution in advance.
