(CNN) -- A couple's dream wedding will come true after a North Carolina man won the top first prize of $150,000 in a recently released scratch card game.

This is the first time a winner has claimed the top prize since the game launched earlier this month.

Alfred Harrell had promised his partner the perfect wedding, according to a North Carolina Lottery press release.

"It's been almost a year and those promises will come true now," he said in the press release.

Harrell was refueling when he stopped at a Circle K in Cary, North Carolina, and bought a $5 Super Lottery winning ticket.

"I'm still trying to process it," Harrell said. "If I had gone in the other direction and not put gas there, I wouldn't have won."

Now Harrell and his fiancee are looking for places to accommodate what he hopes will be a "big family celebration."

"May has definitely been good for us," he said, noting that he also met his fiancée two years ago in the same month. "I want to take care of her first."

Harrell took home $106,876 of the $150,000 prize after tax deduction.

The Super Lottery debuted on May 2 with six top prizes of $150,000, according to the press release. There are five prizes of this amount at stake.
