In the United States, a woman lost 450 thousand dollars after meeting a handsome man on a dating site. During the conversation, he gained trust and offered to earn money on a fake app.

Writes about it dailystar.co.uk.

37-year-old Shreya Dutta said that she was the victim of a scam, which the Network calls a "pig swine". A woman from Philadelphia, USA, claims to have hopped for this violent trend after looking for love online – and it cost her $450K.

She noted that the cryptocurrency investment scheme emptied her bank account for a huge amount. Because of this, she was forced to rent cheaper housing, sell her car, and reflect on the "red flags" in her so-called "relationship" that started on the dating app Hinge.

The term "swine cutter" comes from the Chinese name for fraud, as it is believed that this is where it originated. Scammers pretend to be innocent people looking for love. After finding their victim, they tell her that they made a great fortune from cryptocurrency trading. They encourage their new partner to give it a try as well by offering him to invest real money through a fake app. Further, the fraudster tries to convince the partner to invest more and more money in the "investment platform". Initially, the victim may be allowed to withdraw some of the funds from the fake application, but after several investments, they cannot withdraw more.

Shreya said that this is exactly what happened to her. She convinces that the fake app looked like a real one and at first she was even allowed to withdraw $ 1200 from it. While communicating with the "lover", he continued to convince the woman to invest and postponed the meeting.

She claims that the boyfriend lent her $150,000, ordering her to sell shares and take personal loans. By the end of March, her investment in the fake app of $450,000 had more than doubled, she said, but she was unable to pick it up. Instead, she was required to pay a 10 percent personal tax to access her own money.

Then the woman turned to her brother, who is a lawyer, and he conducted an investigation. It turned out that the woman's "lover" is a coach from Germany, who did not suspect that his photo was used for fraud.

The dating site through which the woman met the swindler appealed to its customers never to conduct any financial transactions in this way.

We will remind, 53-year-old Andrea Sunshine blocked on the dating site. The woman is outraged by this decision and says that it affected her sex life, because she previously had 720 lovers.
