Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, said that he was struck by Russian fakes actively spread by the Kremlin. The greatest impression on him was made by the fake about "war mosquitoes.
The chief Ukrainian military intelligence officer told about this in an interview with Dmitry Komarov.
"Mosquitoes by the way – I was so impressed a little... War mosquitoes are already strong," Budanov said.
By the way, last October, Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, said at a meeting of the UN Security Council that a drone had been created in Ukraine, which "transports a container with a large number of mosquitoes-vectors to a given area and releases them; At the time of the bite, mosquitoes infect attacked people with pathogens of especially dangerous diseases."
According to Budanov, Russians have a completely distorted perception of the world. The reason for this is Kremlin propaganda. The head of the Chief Intelligence Directorate also spoke about the Russian captured occupiers who openly lie during interrogations. Obeying the instinct of self-preservation, Budanov says, they lie during interrogations that they "went to save Ukrainians." However, he adds - the worst thing is that in the subconscious they relate to it.
"It's scary. Their brains are completely destroyed by propaganda," said the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
Over the past two weeks, Russia has been spreading fakes about the alleged death of a number of Ukrainian commanders. In particular, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi. Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar says that this is not just a fake. She calls it a "false start."
