Since this morning, 16 people have been placed in administrative order in an action near the Kvareli Lake Hotel in the Kaxeti region of Georgia.

The EPA's Tbilisi correspondent reports that it was reported in a statement to the Georgian Interior Ministry's (DIN) website Interpressnews.

There have been several tensions between police and civilians during the strike, it has been reported.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's daughter was at the Kvareli Lake Hotel in the Kaxeti region of Georgia.

The EPA's Georgian bureau reports to the local press that protesters, including opposition leaders, have gathered near the hotel to protest.

A large number of police have been drawn to the area. Several opposition activists are said to have been detained.

Media reports have circulated that the hotel has been fully bronzed, and preparations are under way for the wedding of Sergey Lavrov's son-in-law, Alexander Vinokurov. Sergey Lavrov's daughter was also staying at the hotel.

The hotel reported that there was no one named Lavrov among the guests.
