Over the past day, more than two companies of the occupiers of the Russian army and almost 30 units of equipment were liquidated in the Tavria direction.

This was announced by the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.

"The enemy's losses in the Tavria direction amount to more than two companies. Also, 27 units of enemy weapons and military equipment were destroyed and damaged," the message says.

It is noted that units of rocket troops and artillery in this direction during the day performed 881 fire tasks. We are talking about counterbattery warfare and work on planned targets that were discovered earlier.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasize that there is still a high threat of the enemy's use of missile weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against military and civilian infrastructure throughout Ukraine.

As reported, as of May 19, 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 201,760 soldiers of the Russian army. During the day last day, May 18, another 660 soldiers were eliminated.
