During his last visit to Germany, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reached an absolute understanding with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

This was stated in an interview with Dzerkalo Tyzhnia by Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Oleksii Makeiev.

The diplomat said that the Ukrainian leader during his visit to Germany held private conversations with the Chancellor and the President of Germany, each of which lasted several hours.

"And when the leaders are with each other for several hours, there is a very good "chemistry", which I personally witnessed on Sunday (May 14 - ed.) was," the ambassador said.

Makeiev noted that during the conversation, Scholz and Zelensky switched to "you," and the German chancellor even spoke Ukrainian.

"This means that it's not just chemistry here: Germany is experiencing an era of change of views. This is not because the weather is so good, but because we work with the right narratives, with the right people and see targeted what needs to be changed," Makeiev said.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed confidence that the Russian war in Ukraine will not end with the victory of the aggressor. Moreover, the imperialism of the president-dictator of the Russian Federation will collapse.
