According to the EPA from the Department of Press and Public Relations of the National Assembly, Sahiba Qafarova thanked Nosivive Mapisa-Ngakula for her participation in a special session of the National Assembly on the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Leader Heydər Əliyev.

The meeting highlighted the meaningful and honorable way of life and the unprecedented work of the international leader in the history of modern Azerbaijan's government and people. Strengthening Azerbaijan's independence, restoring territorial integrity, and strengthening economic power are taking practical steps to increase our country's influence in the international world.

The discussion also discussed the expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation in our countries, highlighting the importance of mutual trips and meetings within the framework of parliamentary friendships.

The chairman of the National Assembly has welcomed previous meetings with the chairman of the National Assembly, saying such meetings and mutual dialogue have contributed to deepening ties in our parliaments.

It has been reported that Azerbaijan and South Africa are productive within the framework of international organizations, including active participation in the Coalition Movement. Azerbaijan's important initiatives, which are now chairman of the Coalition Movement, have been emphasized. The Parliamentary Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, initiated by our country, has contributed to the development of relations between member states.
