The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport met with representatives of taxi companies operating in Azerbaijan. The meeting said the taxi service had been complicated to improve the organization of my passenger system in the country. As a result, improving the quality of taxi service has been explored by creating a more efficient management system.

AAPA-Economics reported on this. Currently, there are local and foreign companies that provide taxi services with tiny automobiles in the country but also promote taxi services and manage orders. The database of most companies is located overseas, which is contrary to the Private Information Act. According to the law, individual information systems in our country must be registered with the government. Only then is individual information allowed to be collected and processed.

It has been noted that regular measures are needed to develop new government policies in the field of taxi transportation and to implement reform mechanisms.

The meeting detailed issues arising from the Cabinet of Ministers' Decision No. 2019 of March 4, 73, which regulates taxi activity and sets requirements for taxi tiny vehicles. It has been noted that taxi vehicles that comply with my passenger must meet technical equipment and ecological standards in accordance with national and international standards and regulations. According to the requirements, taxi tiny vehicles used in transportation must be of appropriate color and information boards on the driver and transportation tariff should be placed in the vehicle's lounge. Drivers of taxi tiny vehicles must undergo special preparations for ethical code of conduct and regulatory legal acts governing passenger transportation by car.

Explaining the requirements against a company and vehicle that could be attracted to taxi activity, it has been said that passenger transportation can be met by individuals with appropriate permission. Under the Licenses and Permissions Act, a "Difference Sign" must be obtained for taxi tiny vehicles. To obtain a "Difference Sign," you can contact the e-fn.ayna.gov.az online, as well as ayna service centers in Baku, Yevlax and Khachmaz KOB homes.

In conclusion, taxi companies have been instructed to address shortcomings noted in the short term and organize their activities in accordance with legislative requirements.
