Tactical nuclear weapons, which were going to be brought from Russia, have not yet been deployed on the territory of Belarus. Statements still remain at the level of statements.

This was stated by the permanent representative of Belarus to the UN Valentin Rybakov, reports NV.

"This announcement of the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in the Republic of Belarus is, first of all, just a statement. Nothing has been done in a practical sense about this," the Belarusian politician said.

According to him, if any decision in this area is made, it will be "a decision of the government of Belarus, and not of any other state."
