Preslav Georgiev is the boy who got a second chance at life and already sees the world through Dana's eyes. The girl was brain dead, and her parents without hesitation decided to donate their daughter's organs. Both kidneys and corneas of the 15-year-old girl were transplanted, Nova TV reported.

Preslav was Dana's age when doctors said she would be on the waiting list for a corneal transplant.

"We went to laser procedures, but the cornea began to thin and there was no chance to undergo laser treatment because the disease could not stop and we had to write it in the waiting lists for transplantation," recalls the boy's father, Valeri Nedyalkov.

Two years of waiting, and hopes began to seem vain, until a phone call a few days ago changed their lives.

"They called us 3 days ago and told us that they had found a donor for Preslav," says the boy's mother Rumyana Ivanova.

Teenager resurrected before organs were harvested for donation

Against the backdrop of the joy of the chance to return vision to his right eye, Preslav's parents do not hide the enormous pain of the death of a 15-year-old child.

"We especially sympathize with the family. They lose a young child. We can't be pleased. You just can't be happy or anything. Nobody should have such a thing, "said Valeri Nedyalkov.

Thus, the world of two completely unknown families suddenly became common. Preslav himself wanted to meet Dana's mother. "I don't know how to explain it to you. I felt them close. He told me he loved me, to be good. We'll talk to each other, we'll see each other," the transplanted boy said.
