The famous in Sandanski and Petricho hotelier Krasimir Hidzhev, Angel Gardev, Hristo Ivanov from the village of Joakim Gruevo, as well as the famous from Stolipinovo drug dealer Yanko Kamberov-Chechi were caught during a deal with nearly one kilogram of heroin near Plovdiv.

The three Plovdiv residents were detained in a police operation of the Criminal Police during the delivery of the heroin shipment to the home of one of them in the village of Joakim Gruevo.

Ivanov and Gardev took the drugs from Hidzhev, who was in Sandanski and transported it to Plovdiv. Later they had a meeting with Kamberov in Joakim Gruevo to hand over the shipment to him. According to the prosecutor's office, the narcotic substance was intended for distribution in the Stolipinovo neighborhood.

Thus, during their meeting, a special action was carried out jointly by the police in Plovdiv and Blagoevgrad.

The three men were caught in Joakim Gruevo during the delivery of the shipment, while Hidzhev was also detained, in whose home and hotels forensic experts searched for hours. There they found another amount of drugs, as well as a drug laboratory.

Congressman George Santos arrested for money laundering and fraud

After the arrests, the Plovdiv District Prosecutor's Office filed a request with the court to determine a measure of detention "detention" against the four men. On Friday, they faced magistrates demanding a lighter measure of restraint. However, the court decided to put them behind bars, given the amount of drugs they planned to sell around the Plovdiv neighborhood.

The ruling of the magistrates is not final and can be appealed before the Plovdiv Court of Appeal.
