Near Ternopil, a Russian missile was discovered, which the Russians fired at Ukraine on the night of May 14. Fortunately, it did not explode.

This was announced on May 15 during a briefing by the head of the main department of the SES in the Ternopil region Viktor Masley.

"Our pyrotechnicians are involved in the neutralization of missiles such as X-55. This missile fell on the territory of our region, but did not explode. Therefore, it must be taken to a special place and neutralized. We will warn the local population about such work additionally," he said.

The head of the State Emergency Service of the Ternopil region added that rescuers had been extinguishing fires for two days due to rocket attacks on the city. Firefighters from neighboring regions were also involved in their elimination.

We will remind, Russian terrorists on the night of May 14 twice shelled Ternopil. The Russians destroyed warehouses with humanitarian aid and targeted the territory of private enterprises.
