Russian dictator Putin has changed the requirements for obtaining Russian citizenship by foreign citizens who have signed contracts for military service.

Writes about it Russian Air force.

The new version of the decree on participation in hostilities does not say anything, but there is a mention of the war against Ukraine, as well as the period for which a contract must be concluded - for one year.

Now the simplified regime for obtaining Russian citizenship can "apply for foreign citizens who have concluded contracts for military service during a special military operation." In addition, family members can count on a simplified mode.

Earlier last fall, Putin's decree stipulated that foreigners who had signed a contract for military service for at least a year would be issued Russian passports in a simplified manner - only if they had participated in hostilities for at least six months. However, the new version of the decree does not contain any mention of participation in the war.

Recall that about a third of Russians consider a justified step if Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin launches a nuclear strike on Ukraine.
