President Volodymyr Zelenskyy almost lost his mobile phone during a visit to Germany.

This writes the German edition of Bild.

Bild photojournalist Fabian Macerath said that Zelensky was sitting in the back seat of a car with a mobile phone connected to Power Bank. The President left the phone on charge and went to a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"That's where it happened. After meeting with Scholz, Zelensky got into a helicopter. The doors were already closed, everything was ready for departure. Then he realized: oh, the mobile phone is still in the car!" the newspaper writes.

An officer of the Federal Criminal Police Office ran to the car and took the president's smartphone and Power Bank, returning them to Zelensky.

President Zelensky visited Germany, where he met with Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

In particular, Zelensky and Scholz talked with Ukrainian soldiers studying in the Bundeswehr.
