Russia commented on the mysterious illness of the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. They said that he was allegedly really sick, but "there is nothing fatal about it."

Russian propagandists write about it.

Konstantin Zatulin, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, nevertheless confirmed that Lukashenko was sick, but managed to state that there was "nothing to worry about." At the same time, he refused to name the illness of the Belarusian dictator.

"There is nothing supernatural there, it's not covid. Just a man got sick. Despite the fact that the person fell ill, he considered it his duty to come to Moscow, and then held events in Minsk in the evening of the same day. Probably, it needs some rest - that's all," the politician of the aggressor country said.

Lukashenko's disease: what is known

Rumors about the Belarusian dictator's illness spread after Lukashenka was with a bandaged arm on May 9. In addition, he was absent from an informal breakfast and lunch with other leaders of the CIS countries.

Belarusian political scientist Dmitry Bolkunets suggests that self-proclaimed President Lukashenka could have been poisoned during a visit to Russia.

Belarusian opposition media write that the dictator in Russia "could catch some virus."
