Poland will receive the first HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems on Monday, May 15.

This was stated by Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Wlaszczak, writes Business Insider.

"The order for the Polish army is the largest in history. In 2018, we signed a contract for the Patriot air defense system and we already have them. The first HIMARS launchers will arrive in Poland tomorrow," the minister said.

The Polish Minister of Defense stressed that the country will have the most powerful army in Europe in a few years.

"We are strengthening the Polish army, trying to make it so strong as to stop the invaders from attacking our homeland. This is a policy of defense and deterrence," the Polish defense minister said.

Recall that Poland will soon deploy HIMARS systems near the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation and plans to strengthen its army.
