Ukraine expects that China will not support Russia with weapons or other technologies.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky at a meeting with representatives of the Italian media, RBC-Ukraine reports.

"We expect that China will not be a supplier of weapons to Russia and will not support Russia with weapons or other technologies," the president said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that during a conversation with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, he said that his country would stand aside from the process and would not support Russia with weapons.

Recall that on April 26, the President of Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation held telephone talkswith Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

China's state media reported that during their conversation, Xi told Zelensky that China would send special representatives to Ukraine and hold talks with all parties seeking peace.

During a conversation with the Ukrainian president, the Chinese leader called "points and steps" on how to end Russia's war against Ukraine.
