On May 4, President Ilham Aliyev visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, laid the foundations of new villages, schools and hospitals in many cities and districts, including Jabrayil and Gubadli.

APA reports that this was said by Jeyhun Mammadov at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis.

The MP said that President Ilham Aliyev has visited Karabakh and East Zangezur several times and is closely familiar with the work done there, despite his busy schedule, he directly supervises the work being done in both regions.

"At the same time, this shows how much President Ilham Aliyev cares and is sensitive to the work done in both Karabakh and East Zangezur.

Today, as a result of large-scale projects, Karabakh and East Zangezur resemble a large construction site.

It should also be noted that President Ilham Aliyev attaches special importance to the creation of new jobs in the region along with infrastructure.

In this regard, the works carried out in the Araz Valley Economic Zone are particularly noteworthy.

During his visit to the region, President Ilham Aliyev also participated in the opening of a number of new institutions and cultural monuments in Shusha, including Yukhari Govhar Aga and Saatli mosques after renovation.

This, in turn, showed how much President Ilham Aliyev is attached to our national and moral values.

It should also be noted that

all these works are carried out at the expense of the state of Azerbaijan, without any support from abroad.

At the same time, all these works implement any social project without delay.

This also gives reason to say once again that Azerbaijan will gradually achieve all its goals as soon as possible.

"Soon, Karabakh and East-Zangazur will become one of the most prosperous and beautiful regions of the world."

Jeyhun Mammadov noted that Armenia resorted to provocation after the visit: "Azerbaijani army resolutely prevented the provocation.

"Armenia should know that such provocations cannot prevent the projects implemented by Azerbaijan in Karabakh and East-Zangezur."
