9,923 motor vehicles were checked as part of the ordered specialist police operation to comply with the Road Traffic Act.

12,773 drivers and passengers were checked.

2,755 slips and 562 acts were drawn up for established administrative violations.

The focus of the action is the prohibition of driving by drivers who have used alcohol, narcotic substances and/or their analogues, as well as driving of motor vehicles by unlicensed drivers, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 

Within the past day, a total of 17 drivers were found to have gotten behind the wheel after drinking alcohol - 12 of them drove after drinking alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per thousand, five - with more than 1.2 per 1000 , and two refused testing.

6 drivers were found to be driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, two refused to be tested.

2181 motor vehicles and 2375 drivers and passengers were checked from the aggregated data using the "linear control" method;

for detected violations, 645 slips and 105 AUAN were drawn up.

Two drivers were found to be driving after consuming alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 parts per million and two others - with more than 1.2 parts per million.
