The first harvest of this year's crop has begun in native river "Azerchay".

"APA-Economics" informs that 330 tons of wet tea leaves are expected to be received from the first harvest.

Tea harvesting was mainly done a few years ago in Masalli, a tea plantation covering an area of 100 hectares at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level and equipped with modern irrigation equipment.

Specialists provided all necessary agrotechnical care for quality harvest during the season.

The development of tea cultivation has also created conditions for the development of agriculture in the regions, the reuse of land, attracting people to this field, improving their financial capabilities, and opening thousands of jobs.

In accordance with the State Program "On Socio-Economic Development of Regions" signed by the head of the country, "Azersun Holding" built new river fields in the regions and provided them with modern irrigation.

In addition, the Group of Companies, which ensures the operation of factories in Lankaran and Astara, supports their activities by purchasing tea from farmers engaged in tea cultivation for the "Azerchay" brand at a high price.

In general, the tea plant grown with the employment of thousands of people is taken over by the factories, as a result of which important support is given to the improvement of people's social and welfare state.

The development of tea cultivation, which is considered the main source of income for people, remains an additional source of motivation for them.

Because the care shown in this field, which they have been working for years, is a clear indication that they will move forward with optimistic steps into the future.

Dogma Tea "Azerchay", which processes the best quality tea leaves of our country and presents them to the local market as well as the world market, spreads the fame of Azerbaijani tea to the whole world.

The tea brand displays its tea products bearing the inscription "Made in Azerbaijan" at international exhibitions and is proud to introduce Azerbaijani tea to the world.
