The EU border mission Frontex said it will continue patrolling the Black Sea after the interception of a Polish plane by a Russian Su-35 fighter jet.

This was reported by EUobserver with reference to its own sources.

"Together with the Romanian authorities, we are evaluating our patrol plans to ensure the safety of our crews," the Warsaw-based agency said on Monday, May 8.

According to unconfirmed information, Romania has reduced the flight zone closer to its coast.

It will be recalled that the plane of the Polish border police, which was patrolling the international airspace on May 5, was

intercepted by a Russian Su-35 fighter

over the Black Sea - 60 km from Romania.

In Poland, such actions of Russia were called a "planned provocation".
