The Environmental Protection Agency today (9) The second meeting of the preliminary review of the EIA task force will be held on the day.
The Environmental Protection Committee requires that soils with excessive zinc content not be transported abroad and the entire case can be sent to the Environmental Impact Assessment Conference for review after supplementing relevant materials.
The development unit of the New Taipei City MRT Engineering Bureau stated that in order to connect the MRT Three Gorges Yingge Line and the Taoyuan MRT Green Line, and strengthen the public transportation system in the greater Taipei and Taoyuan Metropolitan Areas, the "MRT Sanying Line Extension to Bade Section Project" is proposed ".
The project is located in Bade District, Taoyuan City, starting from the LB12 tail track of the Three Gorges Yingge Line of the MRT, and connecting with the G04 Station of the Green Line of the Taoyuan MRT, providing the transfer function within the station.

During the previous preliminary review meeting, an environmental committee questioned the underground section of the MRT project and asked for a detailed explanation of the construction method and excavation depth of the underground section.
The development unit explained today that the underground section is mainly constructed by underground shielding, and the depth of the covering soil is about 20 to 30 meters. The highest section of the Dayan interchange road is about 30 meters, and the other sections are mostly 10 to 15 meters.
The Environmental Protection Committee pointed out that the zinc content in the soil near the Dayan Interchange exceeded the control standards for edible crops, requiring that the excavated earthwork must be fully mixed and not transported abroad; it also required the development unit to present the earthwork transportation route in detail to supplement the sensitive receptors along the road. Impact assessment, and put forward impact mitigation measures and environmental monitoring plan; in terms of carbon reduction, specific plans such as facility area and location of solar photovoltaic power generation facilities should be supplemented.
At the meeting, the development unit promised to transplant pioneer species with a breast height and diameter greater than 30 cm along the line; and promised to plant suspected supplementary tree species, giving priority to planting native species of evergreen broad-leaved trees such as camphor trees.
The environmental committee suggested that the whole case can pass the preliminary review meeting of the environmental impact assessment, and then it will be sent to the environmental impact assessment conference for discussion.
