Connecting Greater Taipei and Taoyuan MRT with a network length of 4 kilometers, 2 elevated stations and 1 underground station

[Reporters Chen Jiayi, Zheng Shuting, Que Jinglun/Comprehensive Report] In order to improve the mass transportation road network in Greater Taipei and Taoyuan Metropolitan Area, the New Taipei City MRT Engineering Bureau proposed the "MRT Sanying Line Extension to Bade Section Project" project, which is environmentally friendly The Department held the second meeting of the preliminary review of the EIA task force yesterday; the Environmental Committee requested that the soil with excessive zinc content excavated during construction should not be transported abroad and after supplementing relevant materials, the whole case passed the preliminary review and was sent to the EIA conference for review.

The excavated soil contains too much zinc and cannot be transported abroad

The development unit, New Taipei City MRT Engineering Bureau, stated that the project is located in Bade District, Taoyuan City. It starts from the LB12 tail track of the Three Gorges Yingge Line of the MRT and connects with the G04 Station of the Green Line of the Taoyuan MRT. It provides transfer functions. The total length of the route is about Four.

○Three kilometers long, with two elevated stations and one underground station.

At the previous preliminary review meeting, some environmental protection committees raised doubts about the underground section project and asked for specific explanations on the construction method and excavation depth of the underground section; ○ meters, the section connecting the approach road and the green line of the Taoyuan MRT is constructed by open and cut methods; the height of the elevated section is about 30 meters except for the section crossing the Dayan Interchange Road, and the rest of the road sections are mostly 10 to 15 meters meter.

Elevated across the Dayan Interchange

The Environmental Protection Committee stated that the zinc content in the soil near the Dayan Interchange exceeds the control standards for edible crops. It is required that the excavated earthwork must be fully mixed and must not be transported outside. It also requires a specific presentation of the earthwork transportation route to supplement the impact of earthwork transportation on sensitive receptors along the line. assessment, and put forward impact mitigation measures and environmental monitoring plans; in terms of carbon reduction, specific plans such as facility area and location of solar photovoltaic power generation facilities should be supplemented.

At the two meetings yesterday, the development unit promised to transplant pioneer species with a breast height and diameter greater than 30 cm along the project; and promised to give priority to planting native species of evergreen broad-leaved trees such as camphor trees.

The Environmental Protection Committee suggested that the whole case should pass the preliminary review meeting of the environmental impact assessment, and then send it to the environmental impact assessment conference for review.

Target this year to adopt comprehensive planning

Liu Qingfeng, director of the Taoyuan Municipal MRT Engineering Bureau, said that the Taoshi government commissioned the New Taipei City government to handle the extension of the Bade section of the MRT Sanying Line in 2013. The Taoshi government is responsible for land acquisition. This year, the comprehensive plan approved by the Executive Yuan is the goal, and it will be completed seven years after the approval.
