The Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Yevhen Kapinus told who should wait for the recalculation and increase of pensions this year.

He said this in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

According to Kapinus, indexation of pensions has already been carried out this year and several mass recalculations of pensions are planned.

Thus, from March 1, pensions assigned in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine "On mandatory state pension insurance", "On the status and social protection of citizens who suffered as a result of the Chernobyl disaster" and "On pension provision of persons released from military service, and some other persons".

Who received increased payments:

• From March 1, the amount of minimum pension payments to persons with disabilities from among participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP was increased, based on the average salary (income) in Ukraine, from which insurance premiums were paid and which is taken into account for calculating the pension, for the year 2022.

• From April 1, pensions were automatically transferred to pensioners who continue to work, after the policyholders submitted reports for the 1st quarter of 2023 and received information about the payment of a single contribution for this period.

• From July 1, it is planned to carry out indexation by 19.7% of pensions appointed in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine "On State Service", "On Service in Local Self-Government Bodies", "On the Status of a People's Deputy of Ukraine", "On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activities" .

Earlier, the Pension Fund told what amount of disability benefits people of three groups receive. 

The head of the Pension Fund also named the amount and age up to which the survivor's pension is paid.
