In the city of Shebekine, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, on May 8, a "cotton" occurred, after which the local authorities announced an apparent attack by the Armed Forces.  

This was announced by the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, and the local public.

Thus, in the afternoon of May 8, local telegram channels reported that it was "loud" in Shebekin, as well as air-raid sirens were activated and eight "arrivals" were recorded.

Gladkov announced the alleged "massive shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" on Shebekin.  

"One of the projectiles exploded next to three apartment buildings - windows were broken, balconies were damaged. There are 4 victims, two refused hospitalization, two more are being taken to the district hospital," the governor's statement said.

He added that another shell exploded near another apartment building.

There, the facade, roof and broken windows are badly damaged.

There are no casualties.

A car is also on fire, two more cars are seriously damaged.

It will be recalled that on May 2, it became known that in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, unknown persons again blew up the railway track.

Later, fighters of the Legion "Freedom of Russia" announced about "cotton" at the Seshcha airfield in the Bryansk region and damage to at least one AN-124-100 ("Ruslan") aircraft.
