The Russians can attack Ukraine not only on May 8-9, but also later.

As Nataliya Humenyuk, head of the joint coordination press center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, noted, in 2022 enemy attacks on important dates were common, but this year the enemy has new tactics.

"The naval grouping at sea is quite powerful - 16 ships are in the Black Sea. Among them, four surface missile carriers continue to be on duty," Nataliya Humenyuk said.

She added that the total volley of Calibers can reach 32 missiles, which means that the enemy has not abandoned the idea of ​​a missile strike.

During the previous attack, the enemy used less accurate missiles, focusing on the detection of air defenses and their depletion.

Therefore, Humenyuk believes, after that they can use high-precision weapons, in particular "Caliber".    

"Although, obviously, they save on high-precision weapons. Perhaps they have their own calculations and plans for these weapons. Therefore, we cannot relax now..." she said.

She called on Ukrainians to be vigilant and not to ignore air warning signals and to take into account the fact that the enemy can behave extremely treacherously.

It cannot be said that he will tie the attack to a specific date, but if we analyze May 8 and 9 of last year, then their activity was characterized by such attacks, namely missile attacks, specifically on the rear regions of Ukraine.

"It is quite likely that their slogan 'we can repeat' may be repeated this year as well," Humenyuk believes.

At the same time, according to her, it is also worth realizing that the Russians have repeatedly tried other tactics, when they kept everyone tense on important dates, and strikes were carried out after these dates, when people relaxed and did not expect it.
