According to a report in Vogue, a menu inspired by famous fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld was served to the guests at Met Gala 2023.
These dishes were chosen from some of Lagerfeld's favorite dishes, which he served at a dinner at home in 1978.
There was Chilled Spring Pea Soup with Baby Vegetables, Lemon Creme Fraiche and Truffle Snow.
This was followed by another favorite of hers, Ora King Salmon with Vegetable Neuse, Asparagus and Spiced Strawberry Radish.
A lot of drinks and diet coke were also said to be served in this program.
These vegetables are no less than eggs and chicken, vegetarian sources of protein that will help in building muscles.
Many Twitter users criticized the low food intake at the Met Gala.
Despite the ticket price and the presence of A-lister celebrities, he felt that the menu was not being taken care of.
Twitter users felt that the food was not suitable for a grand fashion show of this level.

#MetGala well I hope Anna didn't go cheap with the food this year.
Last year they gave people who paid thousands a plant based menu--like where was the NY strip steak.

American rapper Pusha T was also one of the attendees of Met Gala 2023.
He revealed that singer-actress Teyana Taylor managed to sneak a chicken sandwich into the gala event.
Pusha T wrote on Instagram, "Teyana Taylor is embarrassing me. She brought Chick-fil-A to the Met Gala. I want to get her off me."
