Fish species that are 5 cm in size and suitable for the local area, students, religious groups, and volunteers carefully put the fish fry with labels into the sea, and they responded to the health protection action together, and they were very happy.

The Industrial Development Office of the Municipal Government pointed out that this year, more than 300 institutions and groups including Haida Affiliated High School, Erxin Middle School, Shenao Elementary School, Zhongshan High School, Southeast University of Science and Technology, Lingjiushan Buddhist Mission, and Keelung Fishermen’s Association Volunteer Group were invited to participate. Take 10 boats to the waters around Keelung Island for release, adding vitality to the sea, and allowing teachers, students, and volunteers to participate in a marine environmental education.

Lin Dingchao, director of the Production and Development Office, said that the Keelung City Government and the Keelung District Fishermen's Association have cooperated for a long time to handle fry release, marine conservation, and the establishment of an environmental protection fleet. Recently, they have also cooperated with religious groups. Jiaxi of Wanwei responded to the action of protecting the lives together, calling on non-governmental organizations not to release animals arbitrarily.

The Production and Development Office stated that for this fish fry release plan, the District Fisheries Association and the team of Professor Liao Zhengxin of Ocean University have carefully evaluated and selected healthy and harmless yellow tin bream and carp fish species, which are also suitable for local fish species to be released. Physiological and genetic testing to ensure good health.

In order to track the follow-up benefit evaluation of fry release, we have cooperated with labeling and underwater observation after release, so as to facilitate subsequent ecological investigation, tracking and benefit analysis and evaluation.
