Evaluation of the activity of public legal entities will be regulated by legislation.

According to APA, this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the law "On regulation of inspections carried out in the field of entrepreneurship and protection of the interests of entrepreneurs", which was discussed at today's meeting of the Economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship committee of the Milli Majlis.

Article 6.1 of the draft clarified the procedure for evaluating the performance of inspectors who are not civil servants.

Thus, according to Article 1.1.3 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the Regulation of Inspections in the Field of Entrepreneurship and Protection of the Interests of Entrepreneurs", in addition to the state body, public legal entities are also considered inspection bodies.

Currently, evaluation of the activity of public legal entities is not regulated by legislation.

The mentioned proposal eliminates the legal gap in the issue of performance evaluation of the relevant employees of those inspection agencies.

This, in turn, increases their responsibility by providing control over the activities of employees of public legal entities authorized by the inspection body.
