Zelenskyi , arrived in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, on an official, unannounced visit.

He will hold a meeting with his colleague Sauli Niinisto.

This is reported on the official website of the President of Finland.

The President's Office also confirmed Zelenskyi's visit to Finland.

"Official negotiations between President Niinisto and President Zelenskyi will concern Ukraine's defense struggle and Finland's support for Ukraine, bilateral relations between the two countries and the global geopolitical situation. At the end of the discussions, the presidents will hold a joint press conference," the message reads.

Prime Minister Sanna Marin and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto will also take part in the meeting.

President Zelenskyi's program also includes a meeting with the Speaker of the Finnish Parliament, Petteri Orpo.

Sauli Niinisto and Volodymyr Zelensky last met in January 2023, when the Finnish president visited Kyiv.

A meeting of prime ministers of the Nordic countries will also take place in Helsinki.

The summit will discuss the situation with Russia's war in Ukraine, the further support of Ukraine by the Scandinavian countries, the development of Ukraine's relations with the EU and NATO, and Ukraine's initiative for a just peace. 

The prime ministers of the Nordic countries will also have bilateral meetings with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
