Adani Group on Wednesday started work on India's first integrated Data Center Park and Technology Business Park (IT Park) in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Adani Group told that this park equipped with 100 percent renewable energy has 300 MW data center capacity.

There will also be a skill development center in the Technology Business Park to be built at a cost of 21,844 crores.

It will be the first of three technology zones planned in Visakhapatnam and one of the largest hyperscale parks in India.

The foundation stone for the data center was laid on Wednesday in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Adani Group Managing Director (MD) Rajesh Adani and Adani Ports & SEZ CEO Karan Adani at a park in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam.

AdaniConnex , a 50:50 joint venture (JV)


between Adani Group and EdgeConnex, will set up a 300 MW integrated data center inside the park.

The park will be operated with up to 100 percent renewable energy to help introduce emerging technologies to the region.

It will also be linked with strong terrestrial and aquatic infrastructure.

How much will it cost?


This IT park to be built on 190 acres of land will have a 200 MW integrated data center at Madhurwada and a 100 MW center at Kapuluppada.

Rs 14634 crore will be spent for the Madhurwada park and Rs 7210 crore for the park to be built in Kapuluppada.

What did the MD of Adani Group say?


Adani Group MD Rajesh Adani said on the occasion that the data center would act as a "digital embassy".

He said, "This international data center will serve as a digital embassy. It will be connected through a network of undersea cables coming from South-East Asia. It will land near ports in the kingdom."

Rajesh Adani said, "In today's sustainability-oriented world, every data center needs to be powered by renewable energy. Therefore, as an added advantage, the Adani Group has the ability to buy green energy, which is the key to attracting data centers." is necessary"

According to the Chief Minister, the Tech Park will provide direct employment to 39815 people and indirect employment to 10610 people in a phased manner in 7 years.

Adani Group has invested Rs 20,000 crores


Rs 20,000 crores have been invested in the state in several sectors including port, logistics and renewable energy.

The Adani Group operates the two largest private ports in the state at Krishnapatnam and Gangavaram.

Along with this, Adani Group is also developing 15000 MW renewable energy projects in Andhra Pradesh and one crore tonnes per annum cement manufacturing capacity.
